Hi all,
To think that I grew up in Fla. and fished those areas. Anyway, we are coming down for several months in Crystal River. I would love to explore some old spots, but don't know where to stay. I have a little 19 ftr, but have lots of experience and tackle, and would like to fish Ft Pierce, or Jupiter for a week, mabe in early March. Any suggestions for a reasonable place in those areas near a launch. Use to fish out of Stuart. Also, would like to visit the keys again for some tarpon (use to flyfish for them around Low. Mat, etc), and some bluewater, probably around April. I know, it blows. Problem is, that we have a lab, and would like to bring her, and then find a kennel for day supervision. If that won't work, we will just leave her at CR, but she is old and sure did work hard for me and those birds. Got to watch the money, but sure would appreciate some info...thanks....Fred

I will jump in for the Keys, try The Edgewater Lodge, on Long Key, stayed there for many years, If Melinda is there say Terry sent you. Just google, edgewater lodge long key and it will show up. Remember that time of year nothing is truly cheap or the Keys are never cheap.

Thanks, 29 north. That place looks good. I know the keys can be exspensive, but they are always worth it. Just looking for some deals. Thanks again.
