Default Grouper restrictions



I am planning a trip to my home in Punta Gorda and hope to go fishing for Grouper. I know there are restrictions this time of year and was wondering if anyone knows exactly what those restrictions are ? Thanks !

The restrictions are....the fish must go back in the water....season's closed till April 1.

My understanding is
fl gulf coast-- gags ,red and black closed through march fed waters
gags closed state water
reg limits on scamp
we are fishing using these as the rules
lots of good size mangos everywhere
there are some ars [closed] mixed in
