Hi, I am shopping for sailboat property in Charlotte Harbor, Florida but from a distance (‘m in Samoa). It is hard to find a realtor with water knowledge. I am looking for recommendations on a water savvy realtor or Charlotte harbor boater who can help me with some questions on water depths in certain developments in the area. Any ideas?

Bill, contact Lyn Bevis he is the waterfront broker for Charlotte Harbor. I bought a vacation home from him 10 years ago and now it is our primary home. Char Harbor is a great place.

Good areas to start.The North end of South Gulf Cove, Punta Gorda(most anything before any bridges), Pirate Harbor(I dont know about depths going in), Pine Island.

No disrespect to your friend but I've had realtors in this area call drainage ditches waterfront property.
