Default scalloping report.

well for the folk's from Keaton Beach to Cedar Key,the scallop's are the thickest i have seen them since preKatrina.in my area of Horseshoe beach there real thick.i had a limit in less than an hour on one patch of spotty bottom.they where all around the hard bottom in the brown grass.you can see one then swim down and ther would be 10 or more right there.the kid's had a blast and they shore where some good eatin.

I hope you're joking. If not you're a first class douche bag. Try about 20 miles north next time and don't break the law.

State waters in the Gulf of Mexico open to scallop harvest extend from the Pasco-Hernando County line (near Aripeka—latitude 28 degrees, 26.016 minutes North) to the west bank of the Mexico Beach Canal in Bay County (longitude 85 degrees, 25.84 minutes West). It is illegal to possess bay scallops on water outside open harvest areas. It is also illegal to land scallops outside open harvest areas.

The scallops were few and far between in Crystal River today. There were 3 of us and it took from 9:00 till 1:30 for us to get our limit.

We stayed in Egrets Landing and had a great time. We limited out everyday just south of Pepperfish in about 4-6 foot. Tides were crazy. Scallops were tasty!!
