Hot Rod

A long time ago we used to run out of Crystal River about 25 miles or so and fish some rocky patches where we would get a few grouper and a LOT of french grunts (some call them silver snapper I think). These are very good eats when fried up.

I'm taking Mrs HR over there in a few weeks for a little getaway. Anyone willing to email or PM me a few hot spot numbers? Willing to swap a few east coast "secrets" in return.

I will see if I can pull mine off my computer today. My USB port went south on me and that is how I connect to my Furuno card reader. I am supposed to be getting the new part today.
Hell you don't even need to give me any numbers. I will settle for some more Hot Rod sandbar material, lol.....

Did none of those I sent you produce anything? I can try and plug my C-map in my other comp and see if I can find some better #'s for you. I only had my excel sheet to look at before and without seeing the waypoints in a graphical setting it is hard to remember which ones are which.

Hey sigfla-

One of the numbers was off the east coast at Port Canaveral. The others are farther south (west of Hudson) than I want to run. The numbers I used to have were something like 265 degrees out off the stick at CR, maybe 25-30 miles out.

That was what I was worried about before. Since I couldn't see them on the map I wasn't sure 100% where they were. I used to go out of Homosassa so most of mine are a little south but I am sure I have some a bit further up.
