My wife and I are interested in a rental somewhere in the Keys such as the Marathon area that would come with a boat for potentially 1 week or so in late September. We own a boat but will not be able to bring our boat on this excursion. I realize I could be probably rent a boat nearby but just thought I would inquire on the THT forum to see if any members offer this type of package.

I have seen few places that will arrange a "package", but don't remember exacty where. Came across them one night while trying to search the web for a similar deal. JUst go to google and type something like "keys - boat and house rental"

Planning such a trip in the end of September is difficult. It could be a considerable amount of planning gone to waste if a "named storm" pops up. I see you are from Jupiter - you know what it can be like that time of year.

Couple of issues beside Hurricanes!
Most homes are not able to be rented for less than 28 days, a Monroe county ordinance, so you should check to see if they do weekly rentals.
Captain Pips rents boats (both CC's and Flats) in Marathon, they also have lodging, but I cannot speak to what the lodging is like.
Further down on Ramrod Key, Dolphin Marina has some efficency rental units and rents what I recall are 22ft Angler CCs with 150 and 200's yamahas.
Try the site VRBO.com, vacation rentals by owner and then search the Keys.

Thanks for all the replies, we need to start planning our trip accordingly. I believe my brother in law rented from Pip's a few years ago while we all vacationed nearby in Marathon. I will start doing some homework and see what happens.
