Try listing your watch on www.timezone.com

I've bought and sold a bunch of Rolexes over there.

Good luck!

Bill,

Thanks for the heads up, you would think someone on a boating forum would need one of the best dive/boating watchs ever built...

Kent,

No doubt there are a lot of knock-offs out there, caveat emptor is the case when it comes to used Rolexes.... I have heard from my dealer that Rolex claims something like 90% of the watchs sold on e-bay are counterfeit or have counterfeit parts. I'm not sure how they know but if you take one to Rolex Service Center for service and it has counterfeit parts they won't touch it.

Just as an fyi for those who have pm'ed me, this watch is 100% Rolex, I bought it new from an Authorized Dealer, I have all boxes, books, papers and hang tags that it came with.

My neighbor bough a Rolex and Tag kncokoff in Mexico last week for $100 total. I don't have any pics, but to the untrained eye (like mine) I would never have known the diference. Clear backs, laser etched internals, very heavy, sweeping second hand. Nice watches.

Gee Whiz
Let the guy sell the watch.
I am sure that he could provide a letter or something from a jewler that says it's the real thing.
Beautiful watch
good luck

I'm not a watch snob, there is nothing wrong with a $100 watch but anyone who pays $100 for a knockoff is likely wasting their money. Most people who appreciate fine watches will spot a $100 knock off. What's the point? Kind of like chicks with knock off Louis Vuitton purses.......

No Submariner has ever had a clear back. In fact, a clear back is a big "NO-NO" for any serious diving watch. As far as I know, no Rolex of any model for retail sale has ever been made with a clear back.

Also, no Chinese automatic movement is capable of meeting COSC standards and the case is most certainly not rated to the depth rating of the Submariner.

HotRod, PM me of you want some accurate pricing points for a P series 16610 Submariner.

Must have been an 18Kt model! The TT model retails for around $7K. The all stainless model selling here retails for around $4K.
