About 4 years, but minimal use. I used them for trout fishing off of my kayak a few times a year. They have super smooth drags which makes them great for light tackle & with the one piece air-bail they fish great with braid.

Specs/description from daiwa
http://www.daiwa.com/Reel/detail.aspx?ID=30

I think I have 170 yds of 6lb braid on one spool and 120 yds of 10lb braid on the other.

With the one piece air-bail and nice titanium line roller this reel fishes nicely with braid.
