Tie bars are adjustable from new. Once they are cut, not possible. The threaded rod has to be cut to fit each twin engine application.

Also, just and FYI. The 5348 is no different from any other Sea Star cylinder other than the plate at the motor. You can do a couple of things to help the situation.

Find out which plate matches the 5348 and find that cylinder and just flip the plate. SeaStar will not send out the plates any longer due to liability. For example, the 5345 plate flipped upside down is the 5358 cylinder now. Check each cylinder online and find the one that uses the 5348 plate upside down. There will be an application for this and no, Teleflex won't tell you that. I pried this info out of a tech when I did my research and he confirmed this but only after I promised on my mother's something not to let his people know he did it.

Changing the plate is fairly simple once you press the bushings out of the cylinder mounting brackets on the top. You can press them out with a wooden dowel and very light tapping from a hammer. Then flip the plate and now you have a new SeaStar cylinder. You just need to loctite the bolts.

just getting back to this, thanks for the responses and thanks for the info atlanticbeach. I was able to get the cyclinder locally but still looking for the tiebar.
