Default ***WANTED- 2000-2004 Mercury Cougar, 60K miles or less

My daughter is looking for 2000 - 2004 Mercury Cougar. Has to be the newer style 2 door type, automatic trans, 60K miles or less preferred.

She is pretty set on this particular car if she is able to find one.

If you have one or know of one for sale please e-mail or PM me.

E-mail: russturbo@aol.com

Thanks,
Russ

You may want to do some research on line concerning that model. Lots of reading.

What is it that I'm looking for? I read some stuff on Edmund's and some other reviews and I didn't see anything glaringly bad about the car. I'm assuming you mentioned this because there is something negative about the car and I appreciate the advice. A little more specific information would be helpful. My daughter wants the car and if there is a major issue with it I would like to know about it.

Thanks,
Russ

My ex had one. Total POS. Transmission, window motors, leaky sunroof......It was a 2000 if I remember correctly.

Edmunds reviews are some insight.

The newer ones seemed to be better.

Dorado-Thanks for the info, I will check out the links. She really wants a 2002, maybe they fixed some of the issues from model year 2000? She is really dead set on the Cougar but if they are POS I am not about to let her buy one.
