Arrow 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe 4wd SOLD!!!

Due to my wife wanting to start a family pretty soon, we've decided to sell our tahoe. It's a 2008, LT3, hard to find dark blue metallic, 4wd, with 20" wheels, leather, XM, CD, HD towing package, sunroof, 3rd row seating, and a lot more extras. Warranty for 5 years /100k miles. Currently has 23,000 miles on the odometer. We've been using it as my wife's daily driver, and also to tow the boat in my sig pic. I'll post some pics of it later. Reduced to $37,800 firm. SOLD!!!!

I had no idea Tahoe's got to nearly $60K. Anyway, I rode in a newer one the other day and it was very nice inside.

They've come up in price a lot over the years. This particular truck is one of the higher end models that Chevy offers. Sticker on it a year ago was $55k, I looked at a new one on the lot the other day and it was at $59k for fewer options.

Nice vehicle. I looked at one when I was in the market after I retuned from Iraq. I went with the Chrysler Aspen, as they were offering 6K for Soldiers returning from Iraq. Good luck with the sale.

Dave - How much hitch receiver "drop" do you have? Looks like about 4". Thats more than I would I had guessed it would be, going from the older style Tahoe to the new style. Mine has about a 4" rise which beings it about even to where I think yours would be if it had 0 drop.

It's a 4" drop Don. My Silverado SS which this replaced had a 2" rise, tahoe needed a 4" drop. I thought it was pretty crazy at the time

Sell the boat??? I sure as hope not!! I have an older silverado that I can use to tow the boat with. My plan is to sell this Tahoe to get rid of the payment, pay most of the stuff off that i own, then buy a 1 or 2 year old truck. This tahoe is just a little much for a daily driver for just my wife, and also she and I want kids in the not too distant future. I would liike to have a few more things paid off before that happens..The tahoe itself has been an awesome SUV, matter of fact, I would say that it has been the best I've ever owned. Thx for the replies

This is a great SUV for the wife and kids and it'll do a great job towing your boat as well. Picture heading to the beach with the kids in the back watching the DVd system. Heaven on earth:0

Vett- Beautiful boat and SUV. Have you tried throwing it up on Craigslist or Auto Trader?

FYI, I changed the original post to remove any confusion Fishman. Thx for being confused! Original price was $42k. Thx for helping to clarify that for him Jeff. Chris, I currently have it posted on Craigs list, and WRAL.com I haven't put it on auto trader YET, simply bacause the dealers get shown first before the private sellers. Thx for the compliments on both. If it sells, great, if not, I guess I'll have to work a little harder at my second job if and when a kid comes along

With a grand total of 6 post.. you jump in and try to bash a dude sellin a great looking truck at a great value. If you don't want it.. hit the back button and go somewhere else. " That price is not reduced..." WTF was that about??

Good luck with the sale and better luck not having idiots jump in here on your sale dude!

Thx Jim. You know how some people are on here. They take enjoyment out of trying to screw someone's sale up, or want you to give them what you're selling. It'll all work out in the end. On a seperate note, I heard the blackjack and 100/400 are producing wahoo. Have you been out after them yet??
