Default Airmar b60 Tilted

I have a brand new airmar b60 transducer that is set up for a garmin...but can be converted to fit any fish finder except the raymarine I believe. This unit has never been installed. It sells for $240 new...I will let this one go for $150 plus shipping if anyone is interested. Thanks for looking

deepblue,
The transducer is out in our storage...I am going to try to run out there today and see if it is 12 or 20 degrees. It was supposed to go in my 34 fountain. I will let you know asap

If it was for your Fountain, I bet it is 20 degrees.

I guess I'll call Airmar to see if it will work with my Raymarine DS600X with an adapter? What Garmin was it bought for?

Deepblue,
I bought it for a garmin 3210 gsd 22. If you find out it would work for you just let me know. It is a great transducer.
Thanks

Will this perform better than an p79 or p66. These are the ducers that are on my boat now?

I have the B164-20 which is the same ducer except mine is 1KW. Performance is outstanding. Initially, I wasn't too happy with it until I found out it was installed incorrectly. Virtually flush mount, very easy to install if you actually read the directions(No, I didn't install it) and performance is very good. I have read to 2600' which is the max my Furuno 585 will show. I typically can show 1300-1500 while running. Properly placed and installed, I think you will be very happy.

Tim, I have the same transducer on my boat and read the same but I have a Garmin 3210, I was told by a certain someone mine was installed wrong but I made sure and they did install it correctly, ACM did a knock out job!

dawg, mine was installed wrong. It was a simple mistake and really shows a lack of detail by the installer. But, he came back and corrected it after many hours and a lot of sweat. Thanks to ACM for noticing it or I would still be griping about its performance.

After seeing the how these tilted element ducers perform, I will never go back to the normal thru-hulls.
