I have 8 300 xs's and I need to sell 4 of them. It doesn't matter to me which ones I keep.
1 pair 2007 300 xs with 20" Sportmaster gearcases less than 200 hours
7 months warranty remaining
1 pair 2007 300 xs with 25" Sportmaster gearcases less than 200 hours
7 months warranty remaining
1 pair 2008 300 xs with 20" Sportmaster gearcases with 38 hours
1 pair 2008 300 xs with 25" Sportmaster gearcases with 38 hours
I will sell them for 21k per pair, your pick
Typically, 25" sportmaster gearcases will fit transoms that require 25-30" shaft engines, and 20" Sportmaster gearcases will fit transoms that require 20-25" shaft engines.
The Sportmaster gear cases are the heavy duty ones. They have the same parts that go into a Bravo1 stern drive gearcase.
The price includes new trim pumps and hoses
The 300 opti's are the most fuel efficient engines on the market. I have owned 10 of them and they have been extremely reliable. I just purchased these 08's and I need to sell 4 of them. The 07's are on my boat and can be sea-trialed

Would you be willing to sell a triple set? My buddy with the 34 with trip 225 optis seems interested.
Well, quit being a (you know what) and let me spend your money for you. I'd get the ones with the most warranty regardless of hours. Where were these when I was looking for 300s???
The 08's ran out of warranty last month. But, they have been sitting at Fountain since they were new, and I am gonna try to get Mercury to extend the warranty or offer a cheap extension rate.
The engines came off of a quad 38 that did not have access to 91 octane fuel. He repowered the boat with quad 250 xs's that can run on 87 octane.
Jake, if your buddy is interested in them I will sell a set for trips. We will have to see if he could run 2 20's and a 25. If not, I know someone who has a 30" mid that we could swap out on one of the 20's.
Tireless, if your 25" engines are mounted on the center holes than you could run the 20" motors all the way down and be set up perfect. I am thinking atleast low 70's with a rooster tail.
Someone needs to hurry up and buy them before I buy a used boat to repower and sell.

I have to have warranty coverage if I am strapping different motors on my boat. I don't like the fact my current motors are naked. Can you check with Merc and see if they are willing to negotiate any sort of extension?

the engines come with trim pumps and hoses. The lower engine covers are stock and have not been cut for rear mount steering.
No controls, remote oil tanks, or harnesses.
