Default Additional Applications

I wanted to post some pics of the Rod Rack units cut in half to expand mounting options. The Rod Racks cut in half have been making a great application working with smaller trucks. The cut units also work great on UTV's and ATV's for surf fishing or hauling the bass rods to the pond on the property.

Also built this custom 23 capacity free standing Rod Rack recently for a local customer with a bottom bumper bar to keep the ice-chest off the bottom row rods. Figured you all would like to take a look.

What did you charge for the big 23 rod holder?

Trout, I am the one that commissioned the custom 23 rod holder. I think it was about 800 bucks when it was all said and done, but don't quote me because I have slept since then.

Here is a picture of it in action...

The 23 holder Rod Rack did come out to be $800 and some change. The custom rack turned out to be quite $$; it was the first time building a unit of this stature which used a lot Sprayliner, materail, and time (due to all the angles). I hardly broken even building this unit, but I think it was worth it in the end, since product turned out to be a nice application.

it kicks ass. if he raised the price of admission some to make some cheese on it, it would still be worth it.

Hi, I was wondering if I put 2 rows of 8 on my UWS tool box (on f250), would I have to put a backing plate? I usually run around with 8 50s, a few spinning reels, and 5 trinindad 40s. Could I mount directly to the tool box and expect it to stay secure without plates? Are you through bolting them? What hardware are you using to mount. Obviously it would flex a little but that is ok. Very nice product. I would like 2 rows of 8 sprayed if you think it will hold. In 70508, Lafayette LA.
THanks!

jbryan, I would like to check out some photos once you complete the Rod Rack with the powder coating. Sounds like it will make for a nice setup.
