Thanks racedad70, I really apreciate the compliment.
I need you to send me the some pictures and some measurments of your leaning post to see if it will come out of one of the molds that I have already. If not I need to figure up a material cost. I have the measurments for a 24 ft. seahunt boat. Would yours be the same? When you get your dimensions just send me an email and I can give you the price. csnell1@tampabay.rr.com
Thanks Again,
Frank

Hey Skidmo,
I'm sure I can make one for you. I just need you to send me some dimensions of what you have in mind and a few photos of your leaning post and the deck area where it's going to sit. Give me a call and we can talk about it if you like. 863-660-7001 or email @ csnell1@tampabay.rr.com

Thank You,
Frank Snell

Hey OldPete,
Do you need a price for cooler storage on the bottom or all tackle storage?

I was wondering... you mentioned they are made of 3/4" polyurethane foam core is that the blue sheets of insulation they sell at lowes? Have you had any problems with cracking? Im really impressed its a really nice design especially since it starts with foam!! How thick is the starboard you use? it looks like the drawers are 1/4 and the dividers are 3/8 or 1/2"..

I'd love to have one for my 23 yellowfin, but the current size is too large!

Here's the next project. I needed an electronics box for the boat so my dads going to make one. I'm going to relocate my sterio and VHF to this new box. The other half of the box is going to be used for tackle storage. Let me know what you guys think. We're also going to make a bigger version of this that will have dry storage on the front side.

I'll post more pics when it get done. Surprisingly enough, we have to to wait for some warmer weather. We're in Florida but it feels like Alaska.

Thats a nice E-box. Im still trying to justify spending $2400 bucks on the leaning post tackle station. Have you done any price breaks yet.

I'm not sure. lol... Give my dad a call. I don't know what he priced for you last but I talked to him tonight and he told me that the one with the cooler space on the bottom is going for 2600 and the one that is all tackle storage is going for 2000.

Hmmm! Getting a little more affordable...I know when I spoke with him several months ago, he had said $2400 on the all storage. Let me talk to the boss again and soften her up some. They are Bad A$$ though.

that's funny... just let her know that it's just one of those must have things on a boat. Trust me when I say that you're not going to find a better built tackle station out there. So work on getting the okay from the boss because fishing season is getting close.

If you guys could see in person the quality of their work you would be floored. I've bought from them and I can't begin to tell you how much of a true craftsman he is. He doesn't settle for nothing less then perfect. The man-hours Frank puts into these things to get them perfect is ungodly. I would suspect he isn't making much for his time. But what you are getting you won't find anywhere else. Keep up the great work guys!

Do you make anything smaller that could be used as a seat base on a small express. Also, have you considered making the doors self storing. Would keep them from becoming shin busters or swinging around while open.

Thanks Slper,
We apreciate the kind words. You're right though. He does put a lot of hours into making this stuff and they are perfect whenh he's done.
If you can think of anything else that you might need on your boat just let us know.

That is actually going to be the next project after he gets the e-box done. He's going to make a universal tackle storage that will fit most leaning post and can also be used as a seat base with a added cushion. The one that he's going to make will fit under the leaning post on my 2350 Bluewater and he going to use the same model to put on my 17 ft. sea pro as the seat so I can take out the two captains chairs that I have there now.
As for the self storing door, that is already and option that we can do. You can't really see it on the pictures of the tackle station with the cooler but when that cooler slides back in it has a self storing door that slides out and closes that up. I'll see if we have any pictures with that cooler in the closed position and post them. Thanks for the input.

This goes under your leaning post and has spaces for ten 3700 and three 3600 Plano boxes and has five drawers for storing larger
items. It measures 29.5" wide x 16" deep x 20.5" tall and is constructed from fiberglass and has a starboard insert to hold the tackle, you
could also add a cushion and use it as a leaning post on a smaller boat, call or e-mail for more information.
