I am a retired 60's guy and the car was out of my sight for about one year when my son was in grad school. The hood has a bubble in the paint. I have a price of $300 to repaint the hood. The leather bolster on the drivers seat has a wear spot about the size of a golf ball. I have a price from an auto upholstery shop here to put a new piece of leather in for $ 75 -85. The plastic dash has a crack in it on the passenger side and the same upholsterer said they would replace it for $40 labor. (I buy the part--about $170). All other seats, carpet and the rest of the interior is an 8-9 out of ten. One of the fog lights has the plastic lens cover cracked and there is a bumper mark on the rear drivers side bumper. If I have the hood painted, I am also going to have both the front nose piece and rear bumper done. (mostly love bug damage on the nose piece). An additional $200 for that. There is some rash on the rims but not noticeable unless you look for it.
To my knowledge, the tires have never been smoked (thanks to SRS) and although I run it strong through the gears, it has been babied. It is also, 100% stock. I have replaced the water pump, egr valve, front and rear brake pads, front rotors, clutch, rear main seal (not leaking, just did it while the clutch was out). Tires are very good to excellent. Fuel mileage is surprising. 16-18 around town and 25+ on the highway. (if you keep your foot out of it). LT1 is a 285 hp 325 torque at 2200 rpm if I remember correctly. Rear end is limited slip with srs button. I think 0 to 60 is about 6.2 secs or so. I never have tried to see what it can do but it is strong. Comes with a like new nose bra and a full cover. Thanks for taking a look. |
