Have a 2005 F-250 crew cab short bed 4wd 6.0 Turbo Diesel. Truck is running perfect. It did have the headgaskets replaced at around 60K miles. by 2005 ford pretty much had the 6.0's figured out. It should see 300K without any problems unless someone chips it and starts to run it really hard
Sounds good. So you never chipped it? Why the after market oil bypass filter sysyem? Sorry for all the questions just that the truck has a lot of miles on it. Thanks again, she is pretty. Any more pictures of her?
I will post some more pictures tomorrow. I have never chipped it and I don't think it was chipped in the past. I bought it with 107,000 miles though but checked with a dealership that did all the maintance. As you can see i haven't used it that much. I installed the Bypass system when I was planning On keeping the truck a long time, but really need a car for work. Here is some info on the bypass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onqGyKy69qQ 115.000 really isn't that bd on a diesel and consiering that the truck had most of the miles in 2 years then they were mostly highway miles. Truck has been really well maintained and rides like new. Just serviced the rearend and no signs of any metal and the fluid was clean. Same with the tranny when it was done.
Trade for 02 Mustang GT w/ 68K and cash? Car looks good, runs great and gets good mpg for a sporty V8
