I have a buddy that asked me to list some tackle for him. He has 4 Precision electric reels with rods along with 4 Penn 320 GT2 reels on rods.
The rods with the electric reels are Quantum Blue Runner BST 5980,,PB4. As you can see from the pics, they are in excellent shape and haven't been used much. The bottom and top guides are rollers. You can put plenty of pressure on the fish. Reels are the Penn 6/0 reds. Reels alone at Boaters World almost $200.
The rods on the Penn 320 GT2's I am not sure about. The brand is Sea Striker. These rods and reels are also lightly used. Rods are about 7' long. Action is M to MH in excellent shape.
The reason for the sale is he just isn't using them. If you could see his rod room, you would understand. He has gone to all big trolling reels and Stella rods for bottom fishing.
Will pass along offers. The reels and rods are local to me at his beach condo. He lives in Cht. I am in the Supply / Southport area.
Give me a call if you are interested. Local pickup preferred. Shipping will be actual cost.
Re: Precision Electric Reels and Rods ---- Penn 320 GT2 w/ rods
the precision looks like an old model with a long shaft, the new ones have the motor directly behind the reel body, what's he asking for the precision setup??
I could always use another for my fishing partner.
Re: Precision Electric Reels and Rods ---- Penn 320 GT2 w/ rods
He said he would like to be in the $550 range for each setup. If I can move all four I will see what I can get done. Probably in the $525 range each.
Weekend-Hooker------If there is a new model, I don't see it on the Fish-NG website. NG is selling these for $500 plus tax WITHOUT a reel, line, or rod though.
Re: Precision Electric Reels and Rods ---- Penn 320 GT2 w/ rods
Those appear to be the new model. The round white marine grade cord is the dead giveaway. However, if they have been sent back to the factory, we change the cords as an upgrade. The long shaft is the due to the configuration of the red 114H reel. On all other reels except the 117 12/0, the motor mounts a lot closer to the reel. Great price and good luck in the sale.
Re: Precision Electric Reels and Rods ---- Penn 320 GT2 w/ rods
He called me this morning. I told him I wasn't going to dick around with negotiations and he needed to give me a bottom line for each electric setup. He said $500 each or he will keep them. Here you go boys. That's a pretty good price.
As for the 320's, he is going to give me a number on the this afternoon.
go fish------ They haven't been sent back. They are practically new. As for the long shaft, thanks for the explanation.
Re: Precision Electric Reels and Rods ---- Penn 320 GT2 w/ rods
Those 320 are on cheap rods. Plastic threads on the seats might be okay for the pier but not for offshore, that is my humble opinion. Sorry for having a opionion.

Yes sir. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you sell them. Good luck.
Hey Anthony, good to hear from again. It's Craig Andrews, working on the legislation for Amendment 16, 15B and grouper stock assessments with video. Hope all has been going well for you. Lets get together and go wet a line one day.

What are you talking about "pier but not for offshore". Really, "plastic threads", who knew all of these rod manufactures had it wrong making them with "plastic threads" for offshore king and dolphin fishing all this time.
Thank you for the valuable insight and the assistance.
