Brand new Shimano tallus 50 bent butts for sale or trade for short bent or straight butts - The Hull Truth

I have 2 brand new 50 long bent butts off of shimano tallus series trolling rods. I fight stand up and prefer the short bent butts or straight butts. They are the black aftco series with the gimbal that matches the gold of the tiagaras.

I am looking to trade just the butts, not the rods

I have a pair of aftco straight butts, they are used but not abused. I would swap for a set of bent butts.

Not to derail, but how is the boat running now that you have had the new engines on for a while.

The boat is running great. She no longer has a problem running over 80 mph.

We ran a tuna trip a couple weeks ago. We ran the engines for 24 hours and probably covered nearly 200 miles and burnt 176 gallons cruising @ 40-65 mph.
Oh, and we caught some nice fish, schoolie Yellowfin, a 32lb. 15 oz. state record Black fin, 56 lb Rig Donkey, and some other misc. stuff.

Mlaco, do your butts have the gimbals with the gold that matches the Tiagaras, or is it the standard aftco gold?

The bent butts I am trading are the long bent butts made for a chair. You have to be atleast 6' 2" to comfortably use them on stand up gear

They are the standard gold. I am ok with the large bent butts, I will not be using them in the chair or stand up, we never take them out of the holders when high speeding for wahoo.
