Default Avet LX's, Thunnus 16000, Star Rods, Old Penn Longbeach

THT,

I have some gear to sell that I am not using much.

A) Two Gold Avet LX set ups on Star Arial 30 - 50 rods. These are in very good shape with Power Pro on them. Price: $200 each plus actual shipping costs.

B) One Shimano Thunnus 16000 (strung with 50 pound PP). The Thunnus is used (good shape) but was just serviced by Fisherman's Outfitters. Included is a brand new Shimano Trevala F Series TFS58H Rod - Spinning, Length: 5'8", Power: Heavy, Action: Medium Fast, Braided Line Rating: 65-200 lb., Jig Weight (g): 270-325. Price: $400 plus actual shipping costs.

C) One Star Handcrafted series SUS16/30 Rod (6'6" 16-30 1-3 ½ HVY FUJI / EVA / PWR BUTT). This is in very good shape. Price: $100 plus actual shipping costs.

D) Two old but in "Moderate shape" Penn Long Beach 66's. These have very old lead core on them (I'd would replace it.) They do have some corrosion that I tried to capture in the pictures... not bad but some. These come mounted on Versitex IGFA 50 class rods. The rod are pretty beat up. Bent guides, replaced guides. The rods have butts made from wood. The blank is almost indestructable and it shows. These would be a great "starter" outfit or may be of interest to someone who had a fancy for old equipment. Price: $100 includes both set ups... plus actual shipping. (any less and I may as well keep them)

I will combine everything for a small discount...

Mike

North Coast gets the Avets... see you tomorrow.

Sol gets the Star for $100 (I'll eat the shipping assuming by "MV" you mean Martha's Vineyard). PM me your mailing address. Our I can meet you mid way between West Chop and Wood's Hole

NC,

You are very welcome. I am glad the avets will be put to good use. They really are sweet reels. I always felt like I was wrong in not taking them with me more often. They just didn't fit into my prefered style of fishing. I'll roll your cash into gear that better suits my style (wireline or tuna trolling gear).

Anyone interested in the Vintage Gear or the Thunnus/Trevala butterfly combo?

Sol,

I received your check today. The rod will be in the mail on Monday. It is at my office....

I hope it serves you well. Post some pic of the fish you catch with it.
