I have a pair of Johnson 200 Ocean Runners that are comming off a 26 Regulator. The boat has lived in Osterville and the engines have been well kept by the dealer. The counter rotating engine needs a rebuild but the other is fine. I will sell the good engine for $2500 and throw in the other for parts if wanted. They are on the boat for another 10 days. I can demo the good engine until it is removed. I ran the good one today and it ran great. I can do a compression check for a serious buyer.

What happened with the blown one?

I just bought the boat with the blown engine. I'm putting a pair of 2001 200 hp HPDIs on her and will resell her when done. The head is off and I was told cylinder 4 is scored and lost compression. Oyster Harbors Marine worked on it. I would imagine it is re-buildable but don't plan on doing it myself and can't garantee that it is. The other engine started and ran well for me today. I ran it across the harbor to the travel lift. They both have stainless props and go with all the rigging. The power trim and tilt work fine on both. If someone only wants the good one I can separate them and wholesale the blown one. I just figure that the parts are of value to the next owner.

Any serious buyer is welcome to inspect them prior to purchase.

Any interest in crating them and shipping? I am very interested in the pair, would consider the trip if you could check the compression on the good motor. Please let me know.

We are getting snow this afternoon but I will see if I can get some compression numbers. Everybody is asking for them.

I finally did the compression test.

1= 110
2= 110
3= 110
4= 115
5= 110
6= 105

The test was run cold with 5 plugs in and full throttle. This is a great deal for someone.

The engines are coming off later this week. I would like to have a deposit before they are off. This is a great opportunity.
