That truck is just broken in. I would keep that truck and wait until the new (+08) diesels have proved themself (and get better MPG than a 08). There is a lot of emissions crap on the 08 diesles. All three diesel manufactures are going to have some bugs to work out. I have a 05 F350 and so far it has been good to me but my 6.0 doesn't have as much emissions restricting gear that the 08s have.
