Thats interesting, been by there a bunch of times by boat and recognize the spit of land to the east of you. I am sure you have been for Prime Rib at the Coinjock Marina! One of my favorite stops.

The "slip" is along a well protected long dock, water depth may be an issue for some boats, most folks have a party barge or ski type boat. Boat ramp is there also, a great access to the Albemarle sound and the Intercoastal waterway.

This is a nice neighborhood with a good clubhouse and ramp. I live in Bell's Island, and the neighborhood, Currituck Landing, is nice (didn't know they had deeded boat slips there, though).

I went duck hunting down there about a month ago...Watson Stuart was the lodge/guide I think. Just a little further down Bells Isle Rd. Super neat area...was wondering what prices were down there.
