New Home For sale Midway Ga. on deep water with dock
This is a brand new home I am selling on deep water in Midway Ga. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and is about 45 minutes from Savannah Ga. and 1.5 hours from Jacksonville. The dock is on deep water at all tides and leads to St. Catherine Sound. The home has hardwood flooring and corian countertops with a gourment kitchen. Every room in the house leads to outside porches from French Doors. It was well designed and is beautiful inside and outside with metal roofs. I have recently landscaped and sodded the yard. The home sits on a half acre lot. The properties are filled with large beautiful pecan trees. There are two additional building lots next to this property with electric and city water(hard to get at the time in this county). I will sell the entire package deal. This would be an awesome opportunity for a builder to buy both lots build two more homes and sell them off. There is already dock approvals for the the lots or tie into the existing dock with your own added docking for your boat. The house alone was appraised this year at $597,000. The lots are going for in the neighborhood of between $150,000-215,000 in the area on deep water. I will sell the entire package for $729,000. I will also sell one lot and the house or both lots or one lot. Call 843-298-4456

Gorgeous house. Sounds like a great deal. From what I saw a couple of years ago, coastal GA is one of the few places on the east coast that you can still find waterfront deals like this one. Prices are appreciating fast.
I bet it only takes one time that you forgot the ice to have a list sitting at the beginning of that dock. I can see myself. "Now where are those keys??? Oh crap, they're sitting on the kitchen counter!!! DOH!!!!!"
Re: New Home For sale Midway Ga. on deep water with dock
The dock was built wide enough for a golf cart or fourwheeler with a turn around area on the end. The house is on the east side of I-95. No bridges to go under. So far I have not forgotten anything yet Neckbone. But I am sure I will one day. They say a good walk does wonders for the heart!

How long of a ride to the ocean from there. Forgive my ignorance of that area, but I am looking for a home with deep water dockage on the in the FL area and your maybe an option since its not that much farther north.

I am thinking about 35-45 minutes to the ocean. Once you hit the sound you have plenty of wide open water. I have never been to the ocean from the house. I will make the trip on Sat. and get back to everyone. It is deep water the whole way however. I am about 15 minutes to the docks in Sunbury and then another 10 minutes to the sound.

Two more questions for you, any fixed bridges to deal with? Also whats the average depth until you get to the sound and what size boat are you currently running? Thanks
Re: New Home For sale Midway Ga. on deep water with dock
No bridges to the sound or ocean. Straight shot. 8 foot of water at low tide at the dock according to my neighbor. Average water at low tide to the sound is 10-16 ft. I have had 30 foot boats at the dock. No problems.

my brother in law lives just down the road. This is an awesome place. When visiting my wife especially likes sitting on the dock waiting for the dolphins to make their morning run through that creek.
Re: New Home For sale Midway Ga. on deep water with dock
It took me 35 minutes to get to St. Catherine Sound in my 13 ft Whaler. I was told about a total of 50-55 minutes to the ocean. That is in a small boat. Hope this helps.
