As i have not kite fished with mine I can not answer but these are far more robust than my old Alum riggers and if you can currently kite fish with your aluminum riggers I do not know why you could not do the same with these?

Unfortunately the answer was no, not available

How long do you need your center rigger to be?

What angle from plane would you want? I do a lot of carbon fiber work and I am building my self one and maybe I will build two? The center rigger mount will also not be aluminum. Not trying to hijack this thread from trayder. Infact Trayder the reason I came on here is do you have the availability to get the 18 ft carbon fiber from smith also? of course at your great prices.

No Worries!!!

I do not think they have an 18' option? I will check but I think all CE's are 15, tigress has 18' and 22?? And Lee also has 18' not sure?

I still can get the CE's shipping now included in price any color

Do they make them in all Silver? On the CE Smith website I only see black poles. Thanks.

bigfishhooker 09-20-2011 12:23 PM

And how much for the 18' or larger CF poles?

No silver poles but silver collars. The poles are Carbon Fiber so the Black you see is the actual fiber, they look like a giant graphite fishing pole...The color options are the collars and those options are Black, Silver, or Gold

Sounds good. Need a couple of weeks to wrap up purchase of new boat, assuming all goes well I will be back in touch.

To BigFishHookers question, do they make larger than 15' and if so, what is the cost?

Thanks

Trayder 09-21-2011 10:11 AM

I just confirmed this AM that 15' is the longest available

I believe they are actually 5 meters which is like 16.5 feet. Also the gold anodizing isn't the greatest mine is changing color. For some reason the eyes on mine are turning greenish too. Other than that and the appearance that they may need to be painted one day I really like them.

Ordered Tuesday, got 'm Friday! Look great!
Can't wait to get back on the water and try them out.
