Default JOHNSON 150 HP OCEAN RUNNER/EX CONDITION

I am selling the second engine of a pair of 150 HP Johnson Ocean Runner engines in mint condition. This engine is a 1995 25 inch shaft with Normal Rotation. Engine hours are less than 200. Not a spec of rust anywhere on the engine and maintanined meticulously by me as I was an outboard mechanic in the past. Compression is even across all cylinders. Engine comes with stainless prop and I have 2 sets of control cables I will give to the buyer. I do not have the shifter but can help arrange for buyer to get one cheap.

RECENT UDATES: Water pump, lower unit oil, Power Pack and Plug wires.
You will not find a better running engine in this condition anywhere.

Price is $2850 I have the ability to ship if needed. I can access OEM shipping crate and will crate and prepare for shipping for free.

What happened to the other one? I've been looking for a pair of V6 Johnson/Evinrudes motors for a while now.

I had them on Craigs list this week and sold the counter rotating engine first.

I do have another counter rotating engine in my garage that has been stored for a few years as I bought it for a spare from a dealer that is a friend of mine. It is an Evinrude Ocean Pro 1994 with about as many hours. The engine had a stripped out steering arm (threads) and needed the arm replaced and the tilt/trim motor was dead.

I bought the engine and bought a new steering arm(stainless steel) for $459 and also bought a new PT&Tilt. I have not installed the Tilt and Trim as I have never used it. The compression on the cylinders is the following: 1-110 2-108 3-110 4-107 5-110 6-106 I ran the engine and changed the lower unit gear oil and fogged with OMC Storage oil, oiled the cylinders from the plug hole, and wrapped and stored the engine. All carbs were drained and dried with compressed air.

I am sure it will fire right up and purr. Don't know if you are interested in this set up as a pair as I happen to have 2 Ocean Pro Hoods with one having Counter Rotating on the back. I bought them because they matched the cushions on my boat better than the Johnson hoods. I would have to put the Tilt/Trim on and that is about it.

If it is something that interests you, give me a shout. I was planning on selling this engine after the other 2 were sold. I did not think it would happen so quick and I made the first guy take the counter rotating engine because I did not want to explain to the average Joe why the engine really did not run backwards if it was the one left to sell.
