20 knots on this boat just looked sooooo out of character. This was just coming into the Chesapeake from the C&D.

These were a while back on a 55 Hatteras. Scanned so quality not so good.

A 40 Sea Ray called us that one day as they did their best to stay in our wake. We were keeping an eye on them, every few waves, they'd disappear in the troughs then show up again. As we got to Wrightsville, they finally answered the radio and told us they submarined the bow with the windshield vent open, so we decided to run them into Masonboro inlet. All 3 had put on their life jackets, we were ready to keep going to Charleston. I forget if these pics were from that same day, but it was a similar day.

Had it since '81, been from Maine to Key West and a lot of places in between. It's been sunk in the Severn River, I should say filled to the gunwales so that a gas tank floated out of it. It's all original and I still have it...:)

It is like an early Christmas for me, I just upgraded from a Rebel xti to a 50D and a 100-400L Canon lens. Lovin' it so far, much heavier than my old rig, but 10 times as capable.

The last few days we've been having crystal clear skies. A great time to play around with the camera.

After a couple days of getting ready for the Nor Easter here in Poquoson Virginia and a couple days of cleaning up, I am ready to go fishing. I have the yard picked up and the all four garages cleaned up. Luckily only about 18 inches in the garages and none in the house. You can see the water line in some of the pictures.
Here are the cleaned and ready to be filled back detached garage / shop.

My neighbors boat overturned then totally flipped over. I dove in on Sunday, put some lines on it and we were able to correct. Of course his engine was toast.

Obviously, I couldn't have bought a 2012 but I like a lot of what they have done with this truck. Whether it ever makes it into production is another thing and surely opinions will be very mixed but I like it. Very different and edgy. Let the battle begin. :)

My lobster dealer buddy decided with the weather getting cold around here to hold a hot wing challenge to heat things up. So with the help of a restaurant in nearby Essex the challenge was on. This was an eating challenge on not how much wings were devoured or how quickly they were shoved away but how hot the contestants could tolerate. Each round brought out hotter and hotter wings. The last round they were rated in the pepper spray levels!
