The Original Marine Bean Bag
The large tear drops are $119. Were they ever on sale for around $100 or will they be going on sale anytime soon? I feel like a few weeks ago they were cheaper. I could be wrong though. Thanks

Our high density filler will compress at a rate of about 20% over its lifespan. Ordinary beanbag filler would compress, on average, about 80%. Under heavy use, certain models might need a "boost" if you desire a firm seat. However, most people prefer a looser, more supple chair and most actually remove a portion of the fill. Once a small "boost" of filler is added the bag will not lose it's size like when it was new because you will only be breaking in the portion that was added. the original fill will not compress much further, only whats added. Generally 2 cu ft of fill will boost a bag to new and will last many years.
I recieved my bags today, they were ordered on 3 days ago or so. I spent 20 minutes or so at the Ft Lauderale show comparing the feel of the different models and went w/ a pair of the medium teardrops.
They are awsome. I have used them on other people's boats before and am glad that I have my own. I have tried the target $20 bags and there is no comparison. If you are on the fence, go ahead and get them, you won't be sorry.
I just wanted to clarify my post -- my bags got wet because I left them on the bow of my boat for weeks on end. We had terrible rain here in the Northeast and upon further inspection the zippers were open slighty on both bags. I spoke to the company and they suggested to open the bags and let them airdry -- turns out one day of drying was all they needed. I put these bags through alot this season and they are in perfect shape -- great product!!
What is the best way to clean the bag? Mine are white and tan and are starting to show some oil and dirt markings.
A word of advice.........DO NOT STORE ON T-TP WITH NAV LTS ON!!!!!! I melted a hole almost thru 1 of my bags

Just scrub it down with the boat brush when you are washing your boat. I have found the easiest way to do this is to put one foot in the middle of the bag while standing. This will hold the bag still and will flatten it out makiing it easier to scrub. You can use most anythng similiar to dishwashing liquid, boat soap, etc, Try to avoid using bleach, hull cleaner, or solvents. iThey will eat the wax off the threads and will shorten the life of the product.

I just took delivery of my large wedge and it only took a week or so. The product is well made and well supported. Nice product and I will be looking for a second bag shortly.

I'm thinking of buying 2 of these for long canyon runs, whitch seats do you recomend? They would be inside and not wedges inbetween a console or anything. Theyt sound like they would be a nice place for the boys too sleep on the way home from a long run. Also how long does it ussually take to get a colored one rather than plain white. Thanks, looks like a great product.
