Default Protectant

Good evening,

My son and I met you guys at the Miami Boat Show and we bought a couple large White Tear Drops from you at the show...needless to say we love them. We have a 27 Contender and we will run 35 miles in 3-4 ft seas and I have to wake my son and nephew up when we get to the spot...simply awesome!

Was wondering if it is ok to use a protectant such as 303 on the bags after we clean? Thanks in advance

We have been working with many different marine vinyls over the last 15 years and can tell you what we currently(last 6 years) use was chosen for it's toughness. Our vinyl really doesnt need a protectant unless it is stored in the direct sun for extended periods. You are better off using mild soap(non caustic) so as not to dry the vinyl out. More importantly you would want to make sure to keep the bag scrubbed clean, dirt on the surface will act as sandpaper over time and shorten the life of the material. Often a greasy or residual protectant may actually attract and hold dirt. E-SeaRider recommends that you simply keep your product "clean and cool". Each protectant is different, some are solvent based and they will damage your E-SeaRider over time.
