Default Got my 2 large wedges

The seats are fantastic. One really good thing is that they do not/will not flip backward despite them not being bolstered in the back by the transom or anything like that, that the "sette" can sit anywhere and not worry about being flipped over backwards. The other nice thing is that depending on how one sits in the seat, one can be reclined to take a nap or can sit almost bolt upright. Another good thing is that my passengers can easily see over the transom and is one reason why I went with the wedge.

Compared to me getting a transom seat that would not be all that comfortable even with a backrest, for $600 for the seat then another $300 for a backrest = $900-EEK!!!!, for under $300, I have 2 seats that are durable as they are comfortable and mobile. Can't wait to try them out on the boat.

I'll say, my wedges are tough. I had both tied together and they both flew out of my boat at 65 mph on the highway. All one got was a cut that did not go all the way through, put some Amazing Goop on it and just like new, not even a scuff anywhere on the bags.

Also, my large wedges were plenty comfortable for mcleaves/THT-er who is 6'5" and 350 lbs, he about fell asleep on the way in the other day.

Just ordered 2 large wedges when I got home from work.

Looking forward to them. In the winter my kids can use them in their rec room.
