hopefully the acc will donate a set of reffs this year who are actually willing to throw the yellow flag if needed instead of the pathatic excuse that was there last year. I'm not blaming the SEC, but the guys they sent last year sucked bigtime, and their lack of control over the game was a primary contributing factor in the fight breaking out IMO.

you got that right......they need to set the tone early and not let them get away with cheap shots.....doesn't matter which team it is
exactly, there were so many cheap shots taking place last year from both sides, with absolutely no penalties being passed down, that it made a brawl inevitable, especially considering it was a rivalry game where emotions are already high.
Actually, I meant between fans, not players. Hopefully the refs will keep control of this one. The loss of the extra practice that comes from a bowl hurt us big time this year. I'm sure it hurt you too.
oh yeah, fights always break out, I nearly got in one last go round in WB, we had tickets on the 40 on the home side, about 9 rows up. Got in the game a little later than planned. Our seats were between 2 isles, and the people wouldn't let us get to our seats, this went on for about 10 minutes, at which point I got a little pissed. They were standing up, so we just walked down their seats. Once at our seats, we began cheering for clemson as they were running onto the field. Old man behind me, who I didn't realize was old until after the fact, grabbed me from behind by my collar extreemly hard. By instinct, I grabbed his wrist and nearly snapped it off, I twisted his arm as I turned around, not happy that someone was grabbing me. At this point, I thought I was going to get in real trouble, there was no other orange around us. Turns out, the guy was pissed because he had sold his extra tickets a few weeks back, and they had ended up in the hands of a ticket broker who happens to be a friend of my father, and ultimately ended up going to a clemson fan.

I have to agree that the SEC refs SUCK LARGE (insert favorite noun here). I have never seen a bunch that did a great job officiating. Hopefully the replay will help some of that.
