Default Your Responsibilities on July 4th…..

July 4th weekend should yield some interesting “experiences” both at the ramp and on the water. Hopefully they will all be humorous and non fatal………. Everyone remember to take your cameras, like the Posting Whore says “"

Hopefully, the fireworks guy's at Kent Narrows won't torch the marsh again! You better believe I'll have my camera though!! Three V's, Yachtjim, BFaithful, Elusive, Prxmid, and any other locals, I will gladly purchase any disparaging pic's of me should they be captured on film/chip!

I am considering creation of a paintball mortar to fire on pesky jet skiiers from my spot on the dock. Well, come to think of it, I've already got one, all it is is a potato gun, packed with a papertowel as wadding, works just like a shotgun.

Definitely looks like it's going to be a busy one, I ran in boaters world at lunch to pick up some hardware, and there was a flock of people in there buying "snoopy" life jackets for their rug rats.

potato guns are pretty cool, my buddy next door on the canal built one a few years ago and we were shooting potatos down the canal one night, the next morning while out on my dock I see where the guy three docks down cable had broken and a new 150 yami was under water
I ragged on both guys that it was the tater gun . Do you think a tater gun will fire empty mich lite bottles for the jet skis

I would never mess with you.* I saw how you ratted Vin out on THT for leaving one of his engines running at the Jetty.*

cjd!

You got the vacation weekend!
On July 4th, I'm irresponsible!
I help my brother tap the keg at his
party and it's downhill from there!

Thanks for the invite! With this being Derricks first fireworks show, I'd prefer the convenience of being able to leave should he freak out. He loved Thunder on the Narrows though after a few minutes so I'm thinking he'll do fine, but you never know.

Kid-size hearing protection (like you wear for shooting) comes in very handy for fireworks, air shows & races. Have a great 4th !

I hear ya! I swore I'd never do another "Monday Holiday" again after an incident in Naples, Fla. where a guy broke his back on my boat. Long story that I won't get in to here but, there is SOMETHING about holidays that fall on Monday that just don't sit well with me.
