I knew you fellas would make me look bad.....I don't get to do alot of fishing anymore, because of the family.....when I go, they are usually with me....which is fine, but I learned that I am a jack of all trades these days, not really a fisherman.....i.e. getting people out of the rocks, out of the trees, off docks, off the bottom, rigging lines again and again, baiting hooks, taking fish off hooks....retrieving dumb dogs that jump in the water after bobbers, and my favorite "daddy there goes the lifejacket"....for the umpteenth time.

It is not a question of wanting to make you look bad, or trying to make you look bad
You asked more than 30,000 members of THT to tell you what were their biggest freshwater and saltwater fish . . . you should have guessed that some had caught some pretty big fish
Out of Hatteras Village about 7-8 years ago. Est. 500-600 Lbs. Bluefine Tuna. Captain did the estimate so I am guessing that it is somewhere near accurate. I never thought that a International 130 could be stretched that far. Took almost 50 minutes with 200lbs. test line and 70lb. of drag.
Man that was a fight. We ended up getting about 12 fish that day. Strange thing was that it was extremely rough in the morning with very heavy fog, and by 3:00 on the way home, it was as flat as a board and extremely clear.
