Our lab was named by my daughter....she has a great knack for naming animals and Hershey was a great name. Our lab was "fixed" very early in her life because we got her from our local kennel. I couldn't ask for a better dog. She has really made our life better. Not much more I can say to compliment a dog!
Sounds good.. everyone has been a help... but still have not found one other then Emma that I just love.. and we all know the wife always makes the final decisions....
I've got a black lab / chow mix named "Tide" (that's where tidester comes from), and a three legged shepard / greyhound mix named "Chance" (short for three legs by chance).
Tide is a good name for a water dog, but it's typically used for males.
A good friend has a female lab named "Lady". It was always fun calling that dog on the beach
