I don't know thom, I really think he was trying to pump McNabb up. McNabb was walking around with his head down like he was giving up. For once I was on TO's side. BTW they both live here in Moorestown and "The Freak" Jevon Kearse lives right behind me. WOW they got their butts whipped today.

Sometimes a good butt-whippin' is not a BAD thing. Maybe they need a new perspective on how they play...

I though they looked terrible against Baltimore but the Ravens were so bad they deserved to lose and Philly found a way to win.

Overall, they are not as good as their record indicates (at least right now). If they focus and get hungry again, they'll make a good run.

As far as TO, I can't stand his antics and I think he's Cancer in the long run but he has delivered thus far...he's lucky Donovan didn't turn around and level his A$$. When someone is walking away like that, he's doing it so he won't kill the idiot in front of him! ha ha

T O, what a dick. He'll eventually turn out to be a real nightmare for the Eagles, just wait. Poor baby, no TD catch....... what an ass. Now, on another note.........the Steelers look pretty tough! After beating N.E. and Philly, probably one of the best teams, if not the best in the league AND with a rookie QB! Always good to see some new faces instead of the same teams winning every year. As a Dolphin "fan", I have to look to other teams now to be able to watch real football...... Dolphins stink! The coaches stink! Their QB's are all back-ups and in fact, would be lucky to be that on any other team! Ugh!!!!

Ahhhh, I like T.O. Yes, he is a show boater and into his own glory but he is out there having fun. I am of the mind set that when a player reaches the end-zone he should act like he belongs there and not dance around like it was a shock that he scored. However, I think he really enjoys the game and likes to talk to raise the stakes even higher by talking. What he said in his interviews is true. You never read of him being in trouble off of the field. Until I do read of him being a cancer to society, I will just view him as a guy who is passionate about the game and likes to show boat. I think it is funny that fans and players take all his antics so personally. (yeah I know he brought up Ray Lewis' personal problems but he was right in what he said)

I hear ya...no indiscretions off the field is a good thing but playing a team sport is exacly that...a TEAM sport. In my eyes, there is no room for "personal" antics. I'd $hit-can any player that did that...take Barry Bonds for instance...an AWESOME player. Moody, aloof and not really a "team" guy. No wonder he has no world series ring. He'll retire as the best player maybe ever and will not have a ring. Yes, you can blame his teamates or coaches but he has choked in the play-offs because I don't think he could focus on the TEAM, just his own stats.

That's just my perspective...I loved seeing those greasy, grimy, gritty no BS Red Sox do what they did...that is a TEAM to me...sorta like the Marlins two years ago.

I agree, Steelers have the package right now. The Eagles need to have Donovan leading the party, not TO. He's a cancer to team chemistry.

I hear ya. No "I" in team----- but their is a "m" and an "e" (kidding of course)

I havent seen him become a cancer to the Eagles yet (could be because they have been winning too). I hope he motivates and fuels McNabb to lead with his antics. I think it could work out that way if McNabb is a true leader and keeps him in check without taking it personal. As a person who grew up a Philly boy and an Eagles fan, I will admit that sometimes McNabb gets a little unfocused in my mind when he needs to be most focused (just my opinion)

By the way, I loved the sign TO has BO in Cleveland. It was so stupid it was funny

It was REAL obvious that TO was trying to get McNabb back in the game and get his head up. Donny wasn't responding so TO just kept on him. Honestly the Eagles needed someone like that for quite some time. He has not become a cancer (yet), and I hope the rest of the team can follow his lead. I'd be doing the same thing TO did if my QB was hanging his head like that!!

BTW, the neighborhood kids all went to TO's house on Halloween and he was more than gracious.

Sonds like I'm blinded by his ability!!

I have to admit that he seems to be a great guy off the field, no problems. I just have a low tolerance for his antics and wish he played for us!

I hate arrogance...not confidence , but arrogance.....TO is a good example of why I rarely watch pro sports any more... many are over paid whiners who think the world turns on them. Now, real professionals like Barry Sanders, Pat Tillman and others...they are different. TO is the kind of guy that we eventually mobbed and beat the crap out of on the playground because of his mouth...and thats just what he needs. Why guys stand for it , I don't know. If I had been the coach he was having a 2 yr old fit on last year I would have punched him in the nose as hard as I could and then cut him...what a JERK.

Yo captjoe....you sound like a jilted Ravens fan. For the record, who do you think lobbied so hard for T.O. ....that's right good ole Donny MAC. If you watch the birds every week you will notice that in big games #5 tends to burry his head, get distracted etc..... See NFC championship games 2002, 2003, 2004 and last week.

99% of professional athletes are arrogant, obnoxious overpaid babies, how do you distinguish??

Ravens fan yes...Jilted no.....

I never wanted that ass from the gitgo....I was very happy when he didnt come here....If you want,,,We will be more than happy to take Donavan off your hands!!!

I think you guys might want to take a little look at the defense rather than blaming every thing on McNab...You give up 156 yards to a old fatbutt like Bettis!!
I think I would take a look there....

Good luck to you guys the rest of the season.....A couple more losses and the sidelines could get real interesting watching that cancer stick grow and grow!!!

Take care,
Joe

You can't blame the Eagles defense for the Bus getting yards the Steelers front line is awesome right now and Bettis also has something to prove being put in the # 2 position. And to prove the point about the line look at what they did to the Patriots the week before I think 227 yards on the ground, even when they had run play after run play the Pats couldn't stop them, if they stay healthy they are definately superbowl bound, I just hope they haven't gelled to soon.

Weakfish,,,

I feel you pain...We have the opposite problem down here....Great and exciting defense.....Poor and boring offense.....

Its tough watching football and cant wait to get your offense off the field so you hope to have a chance of scoring from your defense or special teams.....

Eagles need Buddy Ryan to come back and be defensive coordinator. That would make the Eagles the most popular team in the league for sure
