Random Quote: Boats......If it isn't one thing, it's another.
My Dad is in the hospital for multiple reasons and I am asking for everyone to pray that he gets better.* Right now things are looking very serious with no certain outcome.
This is the man that got me into fishing and boating since I was born.* As far back as I can remember our summers were filled with weekend excursions (every weekend) to Block Island.* This would include my whole family and basically was the reason we moved closer to the ocean.* If it was not for him I would not be who I am today and would not have the passion of boating and fishing that I do today.
So I implore you to say a simple prayer for him that he gets better.
God bless,
Grady White (Steve)

Dear Steve. Likewise, we don't know each other. My dad died 18 months ago, and
I understand your feelings. My dad died of a long illness for which there was no cure.
Please understand that God has his ways. We will all pray.
I know its said many tiomes many ways but at times like this I like to think of Nelson DeMille's final paragraph in "UpCountry".
"The journey home is never a direct route; it is in fact, always circuitous, and somewhere along the way, we discover that the journey is more significant than the destination, and that the people we meet along the way will be the traveling companions of our memories forever. "
We pray that you can have both your father in good health AND the memories for a while longer....

My prayers are sent for a speedy recovery for your father and of course my thoughts are with you and the rest of your family. I wish your dad the best.
