Racing isn't all about drivers and cars anymore..it's a business, with the sponsors running the show. Danica is high profile, and her sponsors love it (whoever they are). Drivers are selected as much for their marketability as their driving skills. Danica is a marketing dream, despite the fact she's a decent driver.

I thought the same-- however when Jr didn't lead the 3rd lap -- I started putting the watch on him-- he was running the fastest on the last 5 laps than the rest of the race-- The engine was prepared for the race and wouldn't last in the Cup race-- The teams are allowed lots of leway with certain restriction-- The engine was built like a qualifying engine

Daine 24th tonight at Chicago--

lol 20 was pissed after daytona someone told him not to go....that story about the 6 not going with him was BS he did not give the 6 enough time to pull out, even if the 6 wanted to go with him. I am going to play it safe and say the 6 car was told to stay in line because they did not want to be the bad guys and push the 20 to the lead. There is no doubt joey had a run, and he could have taken it off of 4 coming to the tri, but he stayed in place because he did not want to be hated even more

She will not last long as NASCAR is fighting brush fires every were. Teams are folding and cars are going unsponsored with known drivers. The deal is the car being seen on TV for so many minuets per race and when you are running in the back you do not get any TV exposure unless you are in a wreck.

on a side note how about Newman getting ready to beat the hell out of Lagano? Unless Lagano is some ninja master he was gonna get stomped

Since the car of tomorrow came out I have had a NASCAR nap while trying to watch a race. The crappy all looking the same cars and same race tracks replicated all over the country better than a bottle of booze for snoozing.
