Default NFL is coming dangerously close to NASCAR

Is it me or is all this parity making for one crappy football season. The NFL is seriously sucking lately.

I don't have Sunday Ticket, so I'm stuck with Jet/Jags and its a battle to see who sucks more

or

Lions/Vikings, need I say more. And the Lions are making a game out of it.

Come on, these games suck.

Give me a Powerhouse to love or hate, either way, I'll tune in, but I feel like the NFL has adopted the Car Of Tomorrow!

It's the big 3-1/2 pro sports (football, baseball, basketball, and hockey) just suck. Watching them is like playing video games -- it's for people that need to get a life. Me, on the other hand, invest my valuable time on THT.

It's the salary cap, at least in the NFL.

Everyone screams for a salary cap during baseball season so they don't have to watch the Yankees win the world series, but be carefull what you ask for or you get this.

If salary cap means everyone is the same, I want no part of it.

Did you see that selfless MJD move at the end. Must take some self-control to do that.

I'd have to agree. On another note I have always thought the commentators talk WAYY too much about things that don't pertain to what is happening with the game. Plus, ESPN and the others sensationalize the hell out of everything that happens.

if you don't like watching on tv you should try going to a game, especially at night...about 15 minutes of actual play and 3 hrs of standing around

Yep, the most exciting game of the week (actually, only exciting game of the week) and it won't mean squat for playoff implications

I guess you have to try to watch that "good" game to make it worth while.

Agree with you 100% on the commentators, two that I totally hate to listen to are Joe Buck Jr.(Football or Baseball) and the other one is now doing Boxing for HBO Jim Lamley. Man these ruin a good event.

Funny, you brought this up, I was thinking the same thing. Football seems different this year in both the NFL and College. Maybe it is the media, who's hipe changes on every play, every game, and from show to show telling us all about the games we saw and how they a team could be better one period and poor the next and the morning show is different from the evening show on how poorly who, what, happened in the games.
