BEAUTIFUL one you have there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son has a "Custom 22 or 24"(?) (circa '93 or '94?)? Without the "eagle" inlays, but it has the "Dragon" pickups, w/blue/black grain finish. It was about $1,500 way back then, but they DO hold their value! He's also got a decent collection of Marshall and Vox amps.

I just have a "Strat" (Squire) (my FIRST guitar) a "Tele", and a locally-sold acoustic electric. Have a 15W Fender w/most stuff on it and a Dig-I-Tech effects processor w/pedal. I need a couple of metal or grunge-type boxes for other stuff I like, even though the processor has a lot in it.

Nice that you "build" your own amp - I probably wouldn't attempt that!

Thanks for posting - maybe it's time for another "show us yur equipment" thread???

Here's a vid of "Mr. Smith" playing at the 2007 Winter NAMM Show ...

Also, a friend of mine (met him through my son) - Mr. Johnny Hiland - has a "signature" PRS guitar out. Although legally blind, this guy is SOMETHING if you ever get a chance to see him! Here's Johnny with "Sammy"!

And here's a couple of pics I took at the 2007 Summer NAMM Show in Nashville - check out the Ibanez EIGHT string base!

Regards,
I've met Johnny and his lovely wife Kim a few times, they are great folks.

Living near the factory has it's benefits with some special invitation events.

He's actually a pretty good player.

I guess you must live in the Baltimore area? Great pics of Paul - not sure who the guy beside him is? One of his "PRS Band" members?

I agree about Johnny - a GREAT guy with a wonderful personality!!!!!!!!!!! I met Kim for the first time when I was at that NAMM show - sweet lady! First time I met Johnny was in an "in the boonies" studio outside Nashville (old VFW building, converted into a home, with a LOT of memorabilia from some of the "oldie" stars that had played there!).

I saw Johhny also about 3 years ago when he came to Richmond as part of the PRS "Promo Tour" - GREAT time, and he definitely whoo'd the crowd!

Here's one more pic taken at the show - Johnny and Paul (although Paul has his head turned. ). When Paul walked up to Johnny, PAUL actually "bowed", with his knee on the FLOOR, to Johnny! Wish I'd had the camera ready about 5 seconds before!

Regards,
