Keep the cats inside where they belong. If you harm the cats the bad karma will ruin the rest of your life,

I don't know... it's a thread on an open forum. I had a point to make about cats that are allowed to roam free. Did you really expect you wouldn't get any posts from people who don't appreciate cats on the loose?

And you got all that because I posted that I don't like cats roaming the neighborhood? LOL... well you couldn't be further from the truth. There's a big difference in caring what your neighbors are doing (which I don't) and caring what's going on on and to MY property (which I do).

Yes I love it when irresponsible pet owners decide for me how my garden should be fertilized. I guess those cats on your car just decided your car needs some "art" whether you like it or not. Good thing your neighbor doesn't mind the artwork either.... otherwise you might find yourself with a dead cat hood ornament one day.

I wouldn't go out of my way to kill one, but I sure as Hell
won't go out of my way to save one either. Not talking
about the free range cats either, it's their owners that really
piss me off. If my dog dog walked into their yard and took
a giant dump, they'd be at my door in a heartbeat. What
gives them the right to turn any animal loose on an entire
neighborhood? I fully support the Feline Relocation Program.

1. Get package of Oscar Myer hotdog wieners
2. Get a nice gallon of antifreeze
3. Soak wieners in antifreeze for 24 hours
4. Place pre soaked wieners on hood of car
5. Enjoy clean car Because the cat went off in the woods to die a slow painful death

Gulf coast girl, I love you new avatar of the cat with an arubix cube. I hate cats.

If you read my post again you will find that I said he's lucky his neighbor (I'm not his neighbor) doesn't mind the cats either. Some people will go to extremes and kill wandering cats.

I may not like cats... but the worst I've done is 1) Turn a garden hose on and blast them with water and 2) called animal control and had them picked up.

There's one simple way to keep anything from happening to your cat.... keep them in your house or find a way to confine them to your yard. If you don't do that then don't be surprised if they come home soaking wet.... or don't come home at all. The fault and blame if kitty doesn't come home lies with the cat owner.

Since there is no laws against keeping cats inside the house where I am, I would take it personaly if I found out that someone did something to my cat. When they make a law against letting cats rome, thats when you would have a ligitimate complaint, Do you soak the kidf next door when he walks onto your property to get his overthbrown ball or leafs from a neibors tree falls in your yard?

Well. I would assume I would get the post about shooting them with bb guns. However, I didn't expect to get hit by the hull truth home owners association president telling me what I should do on my property or how cats are ruining her life.

Since it is an open thread why don't you take your totally unrelated OPINION about cats and post a new thread about how you dont like cats instead of hijacking my thread.

Yes I did get all that since you have no earthly idea about where I live or how I handle my own creatures.

If I found my dead cat and I knew you were the culprit then you would be toting an ass whooping and then the sheriff would take your ass to jail. Now after reading this you may ask your self how would he know it was me that killed his cat? Well if I lived close enough to you for you to do such a unspeakable act then I would have already been well aware of your harpy, unmistakable, and downright disrespectful opinionated ways because I'm sure I would get 3-4 letters in the mail a week from your German Secret Police style home owners association.

Other than that please understand that this conversation is over and that you have proved to be such a helpless incompetent that you will be now going on my ignore list.

And when you do something like that , make sure some body who won't know the difference between right and wrong doesn't read it or hear you say it because you may just be teaching a semi retarded person to kill cats. That is about the mentality it takes to write or say what you did.

Get the meaning retard?

I'm sure there aren't any laws against keeping cats INSIDE. We are talking about roaming free OUTSIDE. I bet you would be surprised to find out there probably IS an ordinance that says you must keep your pet on your property and when not on your property it must be on a leash. In other words.... the rules that apply to dogs almost ALWAYS apply to cats and any other pet as well. You just haven't been challenged on it..... YET.

As to the neighborhood kids.... they don't crap in my flowerbeds or tear up my patio furniture.... but you bet your ass if they did I'd turn the garden hose on them too!

I've had my share of arrogant cat owning neighbors in the past.... thankfully I live in a private neighborhood now and all of my neighbors are highly respectful of each other and keep their pets inside and on leashes when outside.

Gulf Coast Girl. Please leave this thread. Your hi jacking the usefulness of this thread. Please post another thread to discuss this since you feel so heavily about this.

This discussion before YOU showed up was discussing HOW to keep my cat off my car. NOT why the cat is there or what your neighbors are doing with their cats.

Here a 1000 miles away we have our cats under control and need none of your nonsense.

PLEASE POST A THREAD TO TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT!

Thats funny. I posted that a week or so back for something.

If I knew that it would cause all the hell that it has caused I would not have even posted my question.

I mean I was asking that had nothing to do with the lifes of cat. Just how to take care of a simple problem.

People some times....

Just because you put up a thread doesn't mean you own it. I can post where I want.... and the root of your problem is an outdoor wandering cat so my points are relevant.

Besides... why are you still crying.... didn't you put me on ignore you big baby

I guess it is the state of the persons mental health and stability. For instance, I know there is a lease law in my town. I don't own a dog. yet, I find dog crap in my yard...My solution is... I get my shovel, I scoop it up , make a quick hole and bury it. Done deal... the dogs run free and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I stirred up the pot a while back in another cat thread that caused me to end up deleting my post and getting flogged in the forum....people are super sensitve about cats.....go figure as cats aren't really sensitve to anything.......pretty much an aloof animal.......back to the issue at hand about the only humane way i can see to prevent the cat is to park the car under a sprinkler but then you gotta deal with a wet car, we kicked it around in the office(it doesn't refer to the cat but the problem) and couldn't really come up with any humane way to prevent it other then the sprinker deal, sorry I cna't be of more assistance

And if that dog tore up your patio furniture... say took it's claws and ripped up all the cushions.... you would be A-OK with that too?

Trying to justify letting your pet roam free by calling others mentally unstable if they don't agree is truly pathetic.
