Default Great Cheap $ tip for any of you with hotub/spa

I fired up the outdoor hot tube for the upcoming cold season, realizing I didn't have a clean filter, and when you start it up with clean water its still dirty from the water that has been stuck in the lines all summer. If you have noticed spa water the filters are expensive 20-30 bucks a whack and they turn brown and dirty in a day or 2 cause of all the hookers that come in my spa with all there oily make up and crap like that, and there is NO way to clean them ...I have tried, you can get the dirt out but the brown stuff is oil and that stuff wont wash out. Well I found them on ebay for 16 bucks a piece if you buy a case. Even if your spa water is clean the paper filter turns brown with oil and dirt in no time at all and they are just so expensive.

So it was late at night and I was bored and wanted to clean the the water so I went to the 24hr walmart and then I picked up these http://www.achooallergy.com/webventfilter.asp for $2.79 For a 12 pack at walmart...so I cut them in half and put one half inside the basket that catches the pineneedles and leave before it reaches the main water filter.....Well it caught EVERYTHING, all the dirt oil and particals and the main exspensive filter was totally clean!!!!!

So from the way it looks tonight I only need one pack of $2.79 dollar pack of vent filters for the year and my water will be crystal clear!!!! With the money I save with this I no longer will need mono backing I can go with full braid on my tiagra 50's

I dont care how good the filtering system is, I will never sit in one of those fecal matter petri dishes.

With all the hookers, it sounds like fecal matter would be the least of Jdizzle's problems. Watch out for the ones with sores!
