My MIL is lonely, and CLOSE. This means that she is here at least once a week.
The fighting between my wife and her mother generally begin within 60 min of her arrival. Thank God I have a workshop/ shed with the locks on the inside, Satelite TV, and a keg.

I don't go near my wife for at least an hour AFTER her mother leaves. Self preservation

My In laws are cool, for the most part. MIL cooks like nobody's business (full blooded Italian). FIL always wants to "help" me .

Same here. My mom can drive me crazy in 10 minutes. It's always questions, questions, questions....she only lives 6 miles away, but I can only tolerate her a couple times a month.
Oh, my inlaws are the best!

Actually loved my MIL, she was great and treated me like royalty , may she rest in peace.......
now the FIL.... A HOLE.....
Thought he used to be a great guy when Mom was alive, but found out after she passed it was all a front.......it all started to add up quick....

Just spent T-Giving with the Outlaws...next year I'm heading in the opposite direction...what a clusterf*&^% that was.......

Best of luck..go fishing..!
