having a birthday party this weekend........i try to get....keg of bud lt to appease all................hmmmmmm..........jim my wedding reception had 3 kegs miller lt / bud lt/ bud........12 cases of ass import beer.......190 people.....the kegs were history....most beer left was hineys.....gave to my buddy......... ...........lol....................jim

Almost any red or amber is my favorite type of beer. John Courage amber is one of the best, but I usually drink amber brock, killians, and Bass. I usually drink a few of them and then, switch to a light beer.... Too many of the darker beers gives me a headache even if I never get to the drunk stage......
But when it comes down to it there are only three kinds of beer!
#1 My Beer, which is good.
#2 Your beer, which is good if you're sharing.
#3 Is free beer, which is the best kind!

Winter- Guinness (but I'll never turn one down any time of year); Young's Oatmeal Stout; Newcastle Brown Ale; Sierra Nevada Porter

Summer- Pilsner Urquell; Sam Adams Lager; Bohemia; Hacker Pscorr; any good IPA or cask ale (hard to find in TX)

Any time of year- a big 2nd for Fat Tire, one of my all time favorites; Celis Pale Bock

My FAVORITE beer = Sierra Pale Ale. Worst beer in the world = Miller Lite. Most often consumed is Mich Lite. I tried Mich Ulta and convinced myself that it didn't taste all that bad. Well, i was deluded. Mich Ultra tastes like abosolute crap. Hey, i'm fighting middle age spread, so i'm willing to try anything that might help.
