I've bought and sold 3 cars in the past 3 year on CR. Never had a problem. Just keep your eyes open.

If you look at an ad and it seems to good to be true, look at the price generally a scam vehicle will be under $5000. Usually if theyre caught its charged as a summary offense of theft under $5000, more than that is usually charged as an indictable offense which is alot more serious.

You are taking a huge risk accepting cashier's checks these days. Many of them are forged and they can be cancelled after they have been issued. Best bet is wire transfer or meet the guy at his bank.

X2 Cash or wire transfer are the ONLY methods that are 100% safe.
