Default Please help me change the password in my computer
Running Windows XP. I want to change the password that is required to start windows when I power up the computer.

Thanks for any help.

Load Explorer

Press F1 for help

Search for change password

click on the start button, then control panel, then user accounts, then change accounts, then click on your account used, then change password.

I just used white-out over the old one and typed the new one!

I did it. Thanks for all the responses. I don't want to single out the best responses, so I will just say I plan on asking surfergirl out on a date, and asking beenie out for a drink sometime.
