Default Any pump expertshere?

Small, vibratory pumps, that is. Can they work vertically? Here is the pump in questions: http://www.espressoparts-usa.com/pro...=&utm_campaign=

It's for an espresso machine. The old pump was a little smaller, and was situated horizontaly but to make the new one fit I would need to have it in a vertical position.

Espresso machine. Pumps the water from a poly tank to the steam chamber. I'm thinking once primed it shouldn't be a problem, but I can't test it before reassembling the whole thing, and that would be a PITA to take apart again.

Ias king says, the pump will work when primed, but....

sometimes the motors have to work in one position due to bushing or bearing styles.
