Don't mean to dis your new boat, but I posted last June #157973, after running approximately 125 miles in a 2486 CC Triton, with my dad, my buddies dad, both in their 70's and a captain/guide out to the Chandeluer Islands off Mississippi in the Gulf of Mexico. In 1-2 foot chop, with a single 250 HPDI, the boat ran terribly. Almost impossible to keep it from porpoising and pounding. We tried shifting weight ballast forward, aft, and otherwise. The fit and finish was good, but in deck storage was average at best. The ride however was the most disappointing. Maybe we're spoiled by the Contender ride, but I would have thought this hull would have handled better. The trim tabs appeared to have little effect at all on the ride.
Hope your experience with the new boat is better.

Blue Dogs, I have a Triton 2895 and although its a different hull then your 24 I thought I might give you some advice on how to best run her. Abacodan mentioned that the boat rode terrible in a 1 to 2 foot chop with the boat porposing, with my boat I find that if the boat starts to porpose its just a matter of giving a little more tab and the boat will stop porposing and ride fine. You also have to play with your engine trim, too much trim on the engines causes the boat porpose as well.
