All sold out in these parts. Got salt where you live? These last few snow/ice storms have apparantly depleted all salt - none to be had at any price in CT as far as I can tell.

Plenty here. I got mine at Lowe's. If you're really desperate use table salt. Generic non-iodized. Comparatively expensive but spreads great.
I actually did that today. Mostly never have had to us ethe stuff and don't like to pollute the area near the lawn. But this has been a very NH/VT type winter that sorta kinda just crept up on us. Big surprise after last year! Burr.....I'm only 15 miles from salt water and 100+ miles south of you guys - we're not supposed to have 3 inches of ice on our driveways....

I'm not too thrilled with it either but I took my bad back outside and chipped away as much as I could since we might get more (beautiful New England weather) on Tuesday.
I don't know if they have "Tube-Sand" (sand in a plastic tube for traction) down there but sandbox sand is just as good even if it does cost a bit more. I had some left-overs when I needed some traction a couple years ago, worked great. You can get it at Lowe's of Home-Depot. If you can't get rid of the ice, you will be a lot safer with a layer of grit on top of it.
If you have to shell out for the table salt, get some lemons and Tequila to take care of the left-overs. Marguritas sem to be membership recomended.

I was at Lowes yesturday, sold out. I used about 40lbs after the last storm. I've had ice in the driveway pretty much since December. I get it almost all cleaned and get another ice storm. I wish it would just snow.
Spent several hours looking for some around here on Saturday. Tried Lowes, Home Depot, local grocery stores, auto parts stores, but everyone was out. Did manage to find some calcium chloride though. Stanford lumber (local Ace affiliate) just received a pallet when I was there. You wouldn't believe the people standing around waiting for the guy to bring the pallet out from the backroom (I was one of them). Pallet was cleaned off in minutes. As for my gravel driveway which is a sheet of ice, I ended up having to use water softner salt and sand.
