Who were the Capt. and angler that caught the largest fish EVER on a rod an' reel? and what was the species? I do not think this catch was CERT. as a world record for whatever reason...

White shark over 3,200 lbs . . . not an IGFA record
Frank Mundus guided Donnie Braddock to capture a 3,427 lb White Shark back in August of 1986. I had a tuna charter scheduled with Al Ristori in Montauk the next day, and got to see that fish, up close and personal. They had a guard watching it, to prevent souvenir hunters from making off with its teeth!

Geographically -Martha's Vineyard. Specifically Sylvia State Beach (raft scene/shark scene with rock jetty in back round....). Not sure but I think some beach scenes may have been shot at other locations on the island.
Also "Orca" can still be seen in Menemsha.

OK, another trivia question: What make boat did Rodney Dangerfield's character own in the movie Caddyshack?

The licence plate found in the Tiger shark was from Louisiana .
The "Aurora" was the research vessel he was scheduled to go on after he was through at Amity. I'm talking about the small "research vessel" he and Brody took a ride in when they found Ben Gardener's boat....and head....
