Posting Pics into Other Forums from your ALBUM
If you have a pic already posted in your ALBUM, here is how you can post that pic that is already in your album into either the BOATERS FORUM or DOCKSIDE CHAT.
#1 Go to your album and find your pic that you want to post. Left click on your selected pic and it will appear in a much larger format
#2 Right click once on the photo, and a window will appear. The bottom option is ‘Properties’
#3 Left click on the properties option and a new screen appears. The third set of information is “Address URL”
#4 Copy the address information, it will look some like the following . . .
#6 In the above code replace the { and } brackets with [ and ] brackets . . . I used the { and } for illustrative purposes only . . . and because of my lack of programming skills

LI SG open your pictures in your computer and than you can adjust them in any photoprogram you have.
Mostly you can adjust them in the one it opens in.

I guess my problem is I don't have any program that can meake them smaller - i tried camedia but they end up always the same even after I save them in the new size???
I'm send ing to Garett or August - and hopefully they can send them back to me smaller - ok guys???
I'd send them to you Marti but that trip over the ocean and back would probably get them damp or salt stains...

If you have Microsoft Office, you should have Microsoft Photo Editor. You can open the jpg file with this application, click on Image, then Resize. Change your units to Pixels and change the width of the picture to 600 for landscape orientation and 480 for portrait orientation. Select Saves As and give the jpg file a different name. Close the application, right click on the original file and go to properties, you should see the file size. Now do the same with the new file. The new file should be substantial smaller in file size than the original. If the file is not within THT limits, try making it even smaller.
If you have it, Microsoft Photo Editor is located under, Start, Programs, Microsoft Office Tools.
